Pengertian Present Continuous Tense

Present continuous tense atau present progressive tense adalah bentuk kata kerja yang digunakan untuk menyatakan aksi yang sedang berlangsung sekarang (present) atau rencana di masa depan (future).
Present continuous tense juga merupakan bentuk kata kerja yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasikan kegiatan yang sedang berlangsung (positif), sedang tidak berlangsung (negative) atau menanyakan sedang berlangsung sekarang (interogatif) (present) atau pada saat diucapkan.

Rumusnya :

Positif: S + is / am /are + verb  ing
Negatif : S + is / am / are + not + verb ing
Tanya : is / am / are + S + verb ing

Contoh kalimat :

# I'm trying to do this exercise right now.
# I hear my brother is singing in his bedroom now.
